Professor Eric Lye Kum Chew Collection

The Library is pleased to announce the addition of the Professor Eric Lye Kum Chew Collection to the Architecture Library. The Collection is a generous donation to CUHK by Mrs. Joan Leung Lye, architect and wife of the late Professor Eric Lye (1933-2003). It consists of over 300 books selected from the personal collection of Professor Lye covering a wide range of topics related to architecture, as well as other valuable materials such as his speeches from 1977 to 1999, architectural sketches and drawings.

Professor Eric Lye Kum Chew, OBE FRAIC FHKIA Hon AIA (HK) Hon ARICS, was the Chair Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at University of Hong Kong.  He is regarded as a visionary architect and educator, inspiring generations of architects in Hong Kong.

黎錦超教授特藏

建築學圖書館新增的「黎錦超教授特藏」 經已整理，供讀者使用。特藏選自黎錦超教授（1933–2003）舊藏，由其夫人黎梁慶儀女士慷慨捐贈，有不同領域的建築學書籍三百餘種，並有黎教授創作的手繪圖、建築畫與一九七七至一九九九年間的演講稿，彌足珍貴。

黎錦超教授 [OBE FRAIC FHKIA Hon AIA (HK) Hon ARICS] 為前香港大學建築學院院長及講座教授，是出色、有遠見的建築師，並是一位具啟發性的教育家，備受推崇。

Web of Science Seminar: Finding citation information of journal articles and h-index, and analyzing research trends

The Library is pleased to arrange a seminar with Thomson Reuters to introduce how to find citation information of journal articles, create citation reports, find h-index, and analyze research trends with the Web of Science Citation Databases. CUHK staff and postgraduate students are all welcome to join. Interested undergraduate students are also welcome to attend.
